Eastern Collared Lizards

Here are my Collared's, absolutely beautiful! To think that one day Bloo (Bigger One) will be completely blue when he matures, I can't wait! Interesting fact, in the wild they use their bright colors to attract prey and distract the prey from females and babies. Essentially they become targets for prey to save their families from any danger. Bennie (Smaller One) is the exact age as Bloo but unfortunately the people taking care of her were not doing a great job and as you can see Bloo is almost twice as big as she is. Quick note, if you don't know how to take care of an exotic animal than do some research and if all else fails use your instincts. All creatures need to eat, sleep, stay hydrated, and poop if there is a problem with on of these vital functions than assess the situation don't give up on them they are counting on you. It's sad when such beautiful creatures are mistreated and the same applies to human beings. Enough of the sap, I'm bringing her back to life day by day but I can only hope she gets as big as Bloo. I think I'm going to create a desert terrarium in the near future for them. Stay tuned!
